Working Together To Provide Quality Homes

IRISH HOMES is comprised of a team of socially and environmentally conscious professionals, established to address the ongoing shortfall in the supply of social housing properties in Ireland. We are responding to the Ireland’s housing crisis and societal need for homes. We are proud to be working as a strategic partner of the Irish Government and Local Authorities to deliver much needed social housing in tandem with the ‘Rebuilding Ireland’ initiative.

This year we are aiming to provide 250 homes for individuals and households currently on the social housing waiting list. We value supporting and creating an Irish society within which individuals & families can thrive and to this end we are consistently delivering “quality” homes that will enable and empower individuals and families to flourish.

We have a proven track record and to date we have acquired 31 properties, we have 65 properties being acquired or in refurbishment and 31 families housed in partnership with Local Authorities. Each of our construction partners have experience working with Local Authorities and are familiar with the Statutory Standards for Renting. Their highly experienced teams familiarity with the required standards, coupled with their use of contemporary technology, ensures a fast and efficient 3 week refurbishment process on every property. Sourcing criteria guides the initial selection of properties, all of which have BER energy ratings of D1 and above.

We value our professional relationships and work collaboratively with each Local Authority to develop smooth and efficient workflow processes and communication channels. Meeting the needs of each Local Authority is of paramount importance to us and we take guidance from you with regards the sharing of information and your necessary requirements to ensure the timely delivery of each property.

Irish Homes obtains our finance from local banks which we then invest in the local economy by purchasing properties through a network of local estate agents and then employing local construction companies to carry out the necessary refurbishment work on each property. We also work with local surveyors and valuers who play key roles in our acquisitions process.
